About Us

Steve MartinMy name is Steve Martin and I have very fortunately been given the opportunity by Craig Mawlam to take over the Yamaha Majesty brand. As a trials rider of some 35 years I can remember, as a schoolboy, Majesty when it was new and I know the iconic status it carries so I was honoured to be offered the chance to continue and hopefully improve all things Majesty.

Some of you may know me as I have been knocking around trials for some years now riding in the Cheshire centre along with various nationals up and down the country on different machines.

Four years ago whilst walking around the Telford show I was struck by the Yamaha Majesty stand that Craig was exhibiting and promptly ordered my first Whitlock framed Majesty. I loved it so much that within four months I had ordered a second one which was set up completely different whilst looking virtually the same, such is the array of aftermarket bits available to get the bike exactly how you like it without cutting and welding etc.

Steve BikeSince then I have ridden nothing else as modern bikes don’t seem to have the same spirit as twinshocks (or perhaps I’m just getting old!).

I live in North Wales but I travel all over the country competing. I also regularly compete in Europe where I have been lucky enough to have won the Eurocup Twinshock Championship for the last four years along with some notable single events such as the Joel Corroy 2 Jours d’Arbecey held annually in South East France.

I hope I can continue the success that Craig has had and help all Yamaha riders (along with a few converts maybe?) with an excellent service backed up with a firsthand knowledge of riding and improving the bike. If there is anything you need it can be posted or taken to an event so please ask or better still come and say hello at an event, we’ve even been known to offer coffee and biscuits!!

I look forward to meeting you.
